Our Mission

Dr. King dreamed of a “Beloved Community” founded on justice, equality, and love. Through our daily work, we strive to bring that dream closer to reality.

What We Do

1. Housing & Stability

Safe housing is the foundation of a stable life. MLK-MSC assists individuals and families facing homelessness or housing insecurity through:

• Emergency shelter services.

• Housing placement programs.

• Case management and advocacy.

2. Food Security

No one should have to choose between paying rent and putting food on the table. Our food pantry and nutrition programs ensure that families in need have access to healthy meals and resources.

3. Youth & Education

Our youth are tomorrow’s leaders. MLK-MSC offers after-school programs, tutoring, mentoring, and enrichment activities to support academic success and personal growth.

4. Employment & Empowerment

We connect individuals to job readiness training, workforce development, and career counseling—helping people gain the skills and confidence needed to achieve independence.

5. Health & Wellness

From health screenings to mental wellness initiatives, MLK-MSC provides access to programs that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being.
